Veritas Flight
Based at David Wayne Hooks airport, Veritas Flight is a flying club founded on transparency and fair pricing. We provide aircraft for flight training, time building, or just flying for fun.Veritas Flight is located at X-14, right off of taxiway N. Come stop by and check us out!Veritas Flight charges a one-time $100.00 initiation fee as well as monthly dues of $39.00 per month. Instructors are $65.00 per hour.

President & Chief Pilot
Gavin Menezes
Gavin is an accomplished aviation professional with thousands of flight hours and extensive experience in both airline aviation and flight instruction.
He has flown a variety of aircraft, including the Boeing 737 and 767 at legacy and major airlines as well as several regional jets. For over 15 years, he has been dedicated to providing personalized flight and ground instruction, helping students build the skills, confidence, and discipline needed to succeed in aviation.
Gavin along with Michael and Lauren, strives to make aviation education an engaging, rewarding, and safety-focused experience for every member of the Veritas Flight aviation community.

I’ve always believed that aviation is just as much about the people as it is about flying. That belief led me to start Veritas Flight with my partners. I wanted to build more than just a place to rent airplanes or learn to fly, but a welcoming community where pilots can grow, help each other, and enjoy aviation together. At the end of the day, flying is better when you have good people to share it with.

Lauren D'Angelo
After graduating from the University of Texas at Dallas, I decided to pursue aviation as a career. I strive to make flight training safe, efficient, and enjoyable. As Veritas' Director of Training, I support both students and instructors in their aviation journey. Outside of aviation, I enjoy reading, staying active, and my many hobbies.
